I am a professor of political science and data science. I am also a nonresident associate at Harvard University. My research focuses on applying data science methods to social and business problems. My analysis and opinion featured in major international media, such as The Guardians (UK), Voice of America (US), and Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
Outside my academic career, I am passionate about entrepreneurship and business analytics. I founded Sprout Stocks, a start-up that applies machine learning to identify undervalued stocks, and Dress Album, an e-commerce website the serves female Asian population in North America.
Before establishing WZ Consulting, I have been a freelance data analyst helping entrepreneurs and scientific researchers with data analysis.
